Good results from the geological study in Abra River, Philippines

Philippines 13 May, 2014 – The first results have arrived from the Abra River assays in Vigan. The average iron (Fe) content of the river sand is 6.6% by weight with assay values ranging from 5.78 % to 8.56 % Fe. The results are in line and slightly better than previous assumptions.

The assay results were analysed from representative test pit and auger drill holes samples at a grid of 50x50 meters. The samples were analysed in the CCIC Philippines, Inc. laboratories in Manila.

The latest detailed topographic survey results were used to estimate the initial volume reserve of at least 7 million m³. The result is very encouraging and confirms the resource assumption that have been calculated previously.

The data is more or less homogenous and we have made the conclusion that a project feasibility study can now be started. The results have been confirmed by Cornelio Q. Casido, President of Delta Minerals Global Pacific and a duly accredited PMRC-CP.
